Our Journey
Creative Connections is a collaborative program offering virtual art retreats meant to empower individuals who are living with chronic pain. This project was developed by two private practices, Kristin Sheehan Psychotherapy and E-Speech Cafe (speech therapy clinic founded by Catherine Walters).
Our journey began with the vision of creating a safe and nurturing space where individuals could find healing and inspiration through art. We understand the daily challenges of living with chronic pain, and our mission is to provide a supportive environment where creativity becomes a powerful tool for wellness and connection.
At Creative Connections, we offer a range of virtual art-based retreats for people with chronic pain and illness. Our team is dedicated to fostering a sense of community and empowerment, allowing individuals to explore their creative potential and discover new ways to manage their pain.
Note: Creative Connection's art retreats are not psychotherapy or speech-language therapy groups. It is not medical treatment for chronic pain.

Our Approach
Discover the transformative power of art in managing chronic pain. Our approach integrates therapeutic art activities with mindfulness techniques and storytelling to create a holistic wellness experience. Through our carefully curated 6 week virtual programs, participants can explore various art modalities and learn practical strategies for self-expression and holistic pain management.
Our retreat provides a unique opportunity for individuals to engage in a supportive and non-judgmental environment, fostering personal growth and resilience. We believe in the restorative nature of creativity and aim to empower our participants to embrace their journey towards healing and self-discovery.
